The truth of the matter is that Michael's facial surgery was done to please nobody (not you or I) but himself. As long as he likes it - and can breeth properly (one of the true problems with the surgery) then get over it! It seems that the main issue for most people is the fact that a man had facial surgery - that a man would change his appearance so noticeably. It doesn't seem to matter that Michael grew up in the entertainment industry - which has the most facial surgery of any profession (let alone breast enlargements etc. - Pamela Anderson Lee, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Melanie Griffith, Josie Bissett and Demi Moore included- 40,000 of those in the U.S. in 1994 alone. The male counterpart can be enlarged as well - and its done often according to Maclean's July 8, 1996 article.) It doesn't seem to matter that for Michael's emotional growth it was possibly needed to move past teenage emotional scars. Which, if you haven't read the section of this site titled The Formative Years please do so now. No, the fact that, reportedly Judy Garland, Jean Harlow, Cher (now admits to a breast job but says nothing about her cheek implants, her tummy tuck, her buttock lift, her new nose, her face-lift, her navel surgery and her liposuction per E! Online), Demi Morre, Michelle Pfeiffer, Barbra Streisand, Jane Fonda, Catherine Deneuve, Victoria Principal, Sophia Loren, Faye Dunaway, Tori Spelling, Barbara Hershey and scores more have had facial surgery doesn't seem to stop the facination that Michael - a guy, had such noticeable facial surgery done. Just for the record, Michael has had the nose jobs (properly called Rhinoplasty) and the cleft added to his chin and that is all. No cheek bone surgery, no eyes widened, no lips slimmed. That's it - the nose and chin. But Arnold Schwarzenegger, Burt Reynolds, Michael Douglas and Paul Newman have had facial surgery done as well according to E! Online. Increasingly, plastic surgeons are aiding guys lacking in the buff department. The result: Some of those pumped-up Hollywood chests and well-turned manly calves you see onscreen owe more to the far reaches of medicine than to the gym. And both work provided you look but don't touch according to E! Online. Now, if you are a little confused by it all - what is the big deal, just read on and you will find that Michael isn't the only man to have facial surgery, not by a long shot. The following article tells the story of the Joe-next door getting plastic surgery. And at the end of this page find the published tabloid apology to Mr. Jackson for claims that he is hideously disfigured. |
Michael Jackson's "nose-jobs" and the cleft added to his chin are constantly in the press (or at least the tabloid sleaze publications.) The latest that I am aware of claims that his nose was done sooo poorly that it may have to be removed! Now, if you believe that such a thing is even remotely possible, please e-mail me because I have some real estate for sale that you will just love and can't live without. Anyone with even a high school diploma or equal should be able to use their gray matter (brain) and logically reason how such a thing is beyond the ridiculous - but then nobody has ever ventured to say that tabloid sleaze "reporters" were so much as remotely intelligent or ever researched (what's that?) their information. Next is the claim by some fictional author that Michael saved a piece of his former nose! For sentimental reasons - no doubt. And most recently...it isn't even a nose any longer, it is a prostethis! PLEASE !
