Gynaecomastia is an excess of breast tissue in males. Surgery for gynacomastia can be combined with liposuction to the area. It is designed to reduce the size of the breast area which can cause embarrassment and lack of confidence.

During your consultation you will be asked to point out exactly what you would like to see improved. This will help your surgeon to understand your expectations and determine whether they can realistically be achieved.

Following gynaecomastia surgery it is important to follow the instructions given to you by your Surgeon. As every patient recovers at different rates it is important to listen to your body. In most cases patients resume normal activities after 2 weeks.

The results of your gynaecomastia may be dramatic or subtle depending how you looked before your surgery. Patients feel better in clothes especially polo shirts and T shirts. Patients who have previously been embarrassed whilst on the beach or at a swimming pool often have renewed confidence.

You will return to Surgeon to the Stars for follow-up care with your surgeon or Surgeon to the Stars's nursing staff at prescribed intervals, at which time your progress will be evaluated. Please remember that your relationship with Surgeon to the Stars and your surgeon does not end when the immediate post-operative follow-up is complete.
