With the end of 2008 around the corner, it’s time to start reminiscing about the celebrity plastic surgery stories of the year and what better way than to start with the most and least obvious breasts that were augmented by the knife in 2008. Although Make Me Heal has no way of knowing exactly when our favorite breast implants were actually placed, the list is full of all the breast implant stories that we broke during 2008.
For our list, we chose not only the most notorious boob jobs, but the ones that were least known, in some cases for years, until Make Me Heal outed the celebrities. The following breast augmentations helped launch the careers of some of the most popular current celebrities.
1. Marisa Miller
Just as Marissa topped Maxim Magazine’s List of the 100 Hottest Women, Marissa tops ours for Breast Implants. Although the popular swimwear model claims to be a natural all-American beauty, Make Me Heal thinks that her bust has been augmented at least once in the past. 2. Audrina Partridge
The reality TV star has become just as famous for her breast implants as for her role on The Hills. When Make Me Heal first broke the news about 23-year old Audrina’s augmentation, plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia said, “Very likely breast implants have been placed probably at least a year prior to the images being taken.” Since that initial story, Audrina may have increased her implant size, making her even more popular in Internet searches. 3. Katherine Heigl
Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl may be losing her mind on screen, but in real life she seems to have gained breast implants. The large shape and round appearance of her breasts seem to indicate that the 30-year old has had a breast augmentation. 4. Megan Fox
One of the most popular young actresses, Megan Fox has been at the center of speculation as to whether or not she has had breast implants for some time. The 22-year old raven-haired beauty has relatively small breasts for someone with breast implants, but their perfectly round shape and large space from one another seems to indicate that they are the result of an augmentation. 5. Aubrey O’ Day
24-year old singer Aubrey O’Day looks more like her friend and idol porn star Jenna Jameson every day, including her over the top breast implants. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden says, “As well, she appears as if she has had breast augmentation with implants that extend a bit outside of the natural boundaries of her breasts. 6. Mila Kunis
That 70’s Show star Mila Kunis looks as though she had more than a hit movie this summer, she looks like she got breast implants as well. The petite 25-year old showed off her new breasts in some paparazzi photos, which prompted Make Me Heal to take note. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden also noticed, saying, “As for breast augmentation, it looks like Mila likely did undergo this procedure. She was pretty flat chested to begin with, and tall and thin, as many stunning women of Russian descent like her are. Now it appears her breasts are fuller with the volume and look of a woman who may have had appropriately sized breast implants placed under the muscle. 7. Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks is no small thing, but when she appeared on the red carpet for this year’s Emmy Awards, the 33-year old most certainly drew more viewers for her show Mad Men. Although Christina’s breasts are large, their perfect roundness seems indicative of implants. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden notes, “Christina Hendricks is no doubt an attractive, voluptuous woman with naturally large breasts. But, upon review of the photos, I believe she may have enhanced her breasts given that she has a few characteristics of someone with implants–for example, when she wears a dress with a push-up bra or bustier in it, there is a distinct border between the breast and the chest wall– that delineation, or “shelf”-like appearance generally occurs in women with implants that are being displaced upwards against gravity. 8. Kellie Pickler
When American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler blossomed overnight, the world noticed. Although Kellie has remained mum on her obvious breast implants, she makes the list of breast augmentations every time. See Make Me Heal’s story on Kellie Pickler’s Breast Augementation.
9. Katharine McPhee
Another American Idol alum, Katharine McPhee, also makes this year’s list of the top breast implants. This year, 24-year old Katharine appeared to be a little bustier than usual, leading Make Me Heal to speculate as to whether or not the singer may have had breast implants added to her repertoire. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden comments that: “After looking through several photos of Katharine McPhee, I am unable to determine if she has had breast implants placed or not. 10. Charisma Carpenter
38-year old Charisma Carpenter is as well known for her breast implants that compliment her body as she is for her role on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Charisma showed off her breast implants in an issue of Playboy, after giving birth to her child. The beautiful actress often plays sexy roles and her implants certainly help give her career a boost. Charisma is open about her positive attitude toward plastic surgery, saying, “Absolutely! My father has overhanging eyelids and I tend to frown a lot and eyebrow-act a lot. So I think that in the industry I’m in, if I could bear to go under the knife, I think, “Great, knock yourself out.” But I think once you start really messing with nature, it can backfire and there’s nothing you can do about it. I’ve seen some pretty bad jobs.”
